1972–2010 – had been running galleries of modern art: PI Galeria – first private cultural institution in communist Poland, Galeria Pawilon, Galeria Foto-Video, Galeria Potocka

1972–2010 – building a collection of international contemporary art (now donated to MOCAK)

1981–1997 – exhibited as an artist

1981–1997 – worked as an art expert in DESA

1990–1995 – director of Tumult, magazine on art and philosophy

1999 – residency on ArtLinks stipend in New York

2001–2002 – Deputy Director, Ujazdowski Castle, Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw

2002–2010 – Director, Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery, Krakow

2003–2009 – lecturer, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Warsaw

Since 2010 – Director, MOCAK the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow

Since 1975 – writing texts on artists and art philosophy for catalogues and magazines
